Regional Player Development Centre

In June Dukes Meadows was given the fantastic news that we would be given the opportunity to be a Regional Player Development Centre and has now launched after completing two successful parts of the application process.

What is a Regional Player Development Centre (or RPDC)?

Regional Player Development Centres (RPDCs) are to  provide high-quality coaching environments which enable the best players to train regularly with each other. They will nurture the best young players to establish a robust all court-game and prepare to successfully begin playing some national and international competitions.

RPDCs are designed to cater for players aged between 10-14 who are regional, national or international level with the aim of passing them into the National Academies which will launch in September 2019.

At Dukes we will strive to bring an inspirational environment in which players will enjoy a comprehensive curriculum to help develop their mindset and their on court game so that whatever happens they are ready for it!

We are also adopting a unique approach to off court planning and goal setting all of which is connected through Drop Box to ensure everything is communicated effectively.
