“I recently took part in a short game clinic provided by Rich Ellis. It was one of the best coaching sessions I have had in any sport, and that’s going back nearly 30 years. Part of the reason was the length of the session. We spent nearly 3.5 hours talking, listening, practising and learning about the short game. The more you get into it, the more you want to do. We could have done double the amount of time. The second part is that Rich is quite simply a brilliant coach. He’s knowledgeable, clear and passionate about the subject. His relaxed and confident manner coupled with an ability to demonstrate all shots really well make him an ideal coach for all levels of golfers wishing to take their short game up a level or two. I can’t wait to use what I have learned in competitions and book another session in before the start of next season”.

“This was the second time in two years that I attended the Short Game School with Richard Ellis. No wonder the top players spend 80% of their time practising their short game – so much finesse and nuance is there to learn. Richard’s enthusiasm for teaching golf is unrivalled, his explanations are crystal clear and his instructions are straightforward and compelling. A highly enjoyable and insightful afternoon. I will now doubt do it again…”
